When they walk out, they're no longer suffering like they were and are either pain free or have had reduction of their pain. Why? Because something that everyone else missed was that they didn't address the breast tissue. Simply put, in many cases engorged or congested breast tissue can pull on fascia (connective tissue) that pulls shoulders forward, tighten the chest muscles, and pull your neck and head down.
This puts a lot of pressure on your neck and upper back and can make them painful. Breastfeeding moms then sometimes seek help, but not usually. They're busy taking care of their baby and often neglect their own health. Even when they do seek help, the professionals more often than not do not address the problem area (whether it's fear of litigation, they don't realize that's the real problem, or other reasons).
